When You Think of Flavor, Think of Mary
Flavor for the Soul was birthed in 2011 by Mary A. Thomas — my mother — and I, Jackie M. Jackson, with one goal: to leave a lasting memory with families by nourishing the soul.
Mary created early the spirit of entrepreneurship in our home. Her kitchen nurtured everyone who came through it — neighbors, church family, anybody who needed a plate and a place — until she succumbed to breast cancer in 2014.
But a legacy like hers doesn't end. It rises, like everything she ever baked. Today, every sober, spiked, and sometimes vegan dessert — and every chocolate — carries her spirit out into the world.
